The first phase of this project, the official launch of which was given on October 8, during a visibility workshop, began in two districts of the city of Dikhil, namely: CHEIK-MANDAITOU and HARROU. Similar distribution operations are planned in 5 other neighborhoods, all located in the extension areas of the capital, Dikhil.
According to the project manager of the “Okar-Aid” Association, Mr. Abdourahman Hassan Maïn, this project plans to provide a total of 300 households living in a precarious situation with water containers with a capacity of 160 liters. , which comply with the hygiene standard for the storage of drinking water.
Finally, the latter addressed his sincere thanks to ADDS for its financial and technical support for the realization of this project which will, he said, improve access to drinking water for households in the neighborhoods. the most disadvantaged in Dikhil.
