The conditions for eligibility for funding from the Community Development Fund (CDF) were discussed last Thursday at the headquarters of the Arta Regional Council. For newcomers, the FDC is the arm of the Djiboutian social development agency (ADDS) in the fight against poverty at the community level. It has financial support from the African Development Bank (AfDB). This leverage is intended to facilitate the implementation of micro-projects carried out by associations at the local level in each of the regions of the country.

With as target audience the actors of the local associative fabric who gathered at the headquarters of the Regional Council of Arta. The meeting took place in the presence of the master of the premises, Omar Djama Odowa. It was led by the head of the ADDS delegation.

These include Galab Hassan Galab. Through the projection of slides, the man explained the rationale, usefulness and scope of the project to support the realization of socio-economic infrastructures and the promotion of economic activities in the regions or PARISER according to the jargon of the slides. Connoisseurs. He then clarified the conditions for access to the Arta Community Development Fund. Which is an integral part of the “PARISER” project. It is also the armed arm of ADDS in the fight against poverty at the community level. The CDF has financial support from the African Development Bank (AfDB). This leverage is aimed at facilitating the implementation of micro-projects carried out by associations at the local level. For newcomers, only the associative structures, holding a valid receipt, can submit their sustainable development initiatives downstream of a management committee already in place. In case of approval of the members of the said committee, they will be released an envelope of not more than three million francs.

Clearly, the primary mission of the CDF is to foster a community dynamic with a view to alleviating the pangs of precariousness. In other words, better informed associations will be able to benefit from the advantages of this fund made available to them in each of the regions of the country.
