The Government of Djibouti has received a grant from the World Bank under the project to strengthen Social Nets (IDA Grant H779-DJ). The integrated social assistance to poor and vulnerable households pilot program combines an employment intensive part of labor in public works component and a fight against maternal and child malnutrition. The objectives are to (i) create temporary employment opportunities for the poor and (ii) improve child nutrition practices and support for pregnant and lactating women in the program.
