The Secretary of State for National Solidarity last Saturday inaugurated the new corniche Tadjourah conducted as part of a beautification project of the chief towns of the regions. Antique street lights, palm trees, a long stone wall, quality pavers, Tadjourah the waterfront is almost transformed.
Many celebrities, including former Prime Minister DMD, were present at the side of the Secretary of State at the opening ceremony of the cornice of Tadjourah, a project funded by the African Development Bank. The Sultan of Tadjoura Abdoulkader was also present. It should be noted that the main contractor of the project is a local company, Red Sea, led by Mr. Ali Issa.
The latter has also been praised for the quality of his work. This project complements the construction of commercial shops a little further on the waterfront. Everything is designed to make more attractive the city of Tadjourah and to boost tourism and trade.
