On Thursday, May 21, 2026, the General Management and all the staff of the Djiboutian Agency for Social Development had the honor of warmly welcoming Her Excellency Mrs. Ouloufa Ismaïl Abdo, Minister of Social Affairs and Solidarity, who was reappointed to her position following the recent ministerial reshuffle.

On this occasion, a friendly coffee break was organized at ADDS headquarters in the presence of the Director General, directors, heads of departments, and all the Agency’s managers and employees. This moment of exchange and conviviality allowed the staff to reiterate their congratulations to the Minister and to offer her their best wishes for success in continuing her noble mission serving the most vulnerable populations.

In a warm and appreciative atmosphere, the staff of ADDS commended the Minister’s leadership and unwavering commitment to social development, national solidarity, and inclusion.
The ceremony continued with a gala luncheon at the Sheraton Hotel, bringing together Agency officials and numerous colleagues who came to express their support and dedication to this institutional collaboration built on trust and a commitment to serving the citizens.

In her address, the Minister warmly thanked the General Directorate and all the staff of ADDS for their kind and respectful welcome. She also outlined the Government’s priorities in the fight against poverty and for social development, emphasizing the need to strengthen community-based initiatives, support vulnerable populations, and implement programs with a strong social impact.
For their part, the ADDS employees expressed their full commitment to supporting the Minister in achieving the Ministry’s objectives and implementing social development projects throughout the country.
