ADDS: Training in driving of construction equipment to Douda

The Director General of the Djibouti Social Development Agency (ADDS), Mahdi Mohamed Djama, conducted last Monday in the official close of a professional driving training gear sites for young people in the region. This project funded by the ADDS targeted the population of the village of Douda. The sub-prefect of the region of Arta, M.Elmi Waberi Osman, the head of the training, Mr. Abdillahi Mohamed Eid and ADDS team took part in the training closing ceremony which saw the presence also many locals.

This training implemented by the ADDS and financed by the World Bank has benefited some twenty-two (22) students during a period of two (2) months. The training consisted of the acquisition of theoretical and practical skills on the ability to drive safely mobile construction machinery of following categories: category 4 R372 loading tool has reciprocating (backhoe). The Djiboutian Agency of Social Development, the fight against poverty and unemployment in the country, has trained young people to learn these devices operate in a work situation sites. This training should enable them to start looking for jobs in the labor market. Better yet, with this formation, they can apply for job vacancies or internships additional training to increase their achievements and professional experience.

The young beneficiaries of the training all from the village of Douda in the region of Arta, received certificates of completion of practical training at the hands of various officials present. Note that the sub-prefect of the region, Mr Osman Elmi Waberi congratulated the participants to training for their rigor and diligence. He also paid tribute to the head of the ADDS which provides training and resources for youth communities in his region. “All these efforts certainly bear fruit and enable the youth of the village of Douda and around the Arta region and more generally for the country for solutions to their difficulties in socio-professional integration” has he said . The youth leaders and students have deeply appreciated the support of the youth ADDS Douda through this training oh so precious and useful. They expressed their deep gratitude to the head of ADDS and local authorities and the head of the training.
