CLAP FOR END OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT FUND FOR DISTRICT 7

As part of its capacity-building program for neighborhood associations, 7 the Djiboutian Social Development Agency (ADDS), in partnership with the Community Development Center in Ward 7, organized a closing ceremony of the 13 Projects funded through the Community Development Fund.

The Community Development Fund (CDF) Q7 is a small fund dedicated to Quartier 7 to support the activities carried out by the associations (small grants of US $ 3,000 or 500,000fdj). The purpose of the funded activities is to improve the impact and sustainability of the investment program financed under the second PREPUD 2 Q.7 project. This ceremony took place on Thursday 25th May in the CDC of Ward 7 and brought together the President of the Boulaos Commune, Mr Mohamed Ismaël Omar, ADDS Director of Social Development, Director of the CDC of Q.7 , Mrs Koresha Ali Guedi, MrDirieh Farah Souldan and his close associates and the beneficiary associations.

The leaders, who spoke in turn, congratulated the 13 associations for their efforts. The Commune of Boulaos for its part affirmed the support to the ADDS in its efforts. The Director of the Social Development Agency also took the opportunity to raise awareness and encourage associations to participate in the call for proposals of the second phase of the CDF.

ADDS would like to thank the partners who stand by it as part of its social development activities. These are the State Secretariat for Youth and Sports, the Commune of Boulaos and the sub-prefecture of the 2nd arrondissement, sparing no effort for the perfect collaboration and for the smooth running of the mission to fight against poverty And the social exclusion of the agency.
