Electrification project of the Al Rahma town: Japanese funds available

JICA provides funding in the amount of 48 451 350 CFA francs, which come in handy for the proposed electrification of the village Al-Rahma. It is the management of ADDS to control the installation of a solar electrification in the rural community system.

The Embassy of Japan in the Republic of Djibouti has agreed to use the funds from the donation non-project of 2010 for the electrification of the village Al-Rahma program.

Worth 48 451 350 francs now, the envelope will be used to fund this project which delegated contracting authority is the Djibouti Social Development Agency (ADDS).

It is up to management ADDS pilot the installation of a solar electrification system at Al Rahma town.

The initiative is timely. It should contribute to socio-economic development of the rural population targets.

The projection comes expectations translate Japanese partners in this project.

Ultimate info: commissioning of the school canteen Al Rahma town was made possible through funding from the same matching funds which helped cover the cost of construction up to 171 079 596 FD during school year 2013-2014.
