As is customary, National Solidarity Week is a significant moment for reflection, sharing, and connecting with communities, including those living in the most remote areas. This year, the solidarity caravan officially began in the Obock region.
After visiting the town of Alailidada on Sunday, the delegation, led by Her Excellency Ms. Ouloufa Ismail Abdo, Minister of Social Affairs and Solidarity, inaugurated several infrastructures, including the strategic storage hangar and the administrative building constructed by ADDS to alleviate congestion in Djibouti City and allow Obock residents to access essential services without having to travel to the capital.
The delegation concluded its program in the Obock region with a vibrant ceremony, during which the Minister paid tribute to the women benefiting from the GEA program. Those who distinguished themselves by their seriousness and determination received honorary distinctions in recognition of their efforts; the event was also marked by the awarding of accreditation to the CGC (Community Management Committee).
