The Solidarity Caravan officially launched this Sunday, February 1, 2026, in the town of Alaili Dadah, Obock region, marking a significant new step in outreach efforts to support communities living in remote areas of the country.
This initial phase provided an opportunity to assess the progress of community empowerment initiatives, particularly through the establishment of solidarity funds, as well as the commissioning of three social infrastructure projects designed to sustainably improve the living conditions of residents.
Furthermore, a major step forward in opening up access to isolated areas was observed with the effective opening of the new access road, a demand voiced by local communities for nearly two years. This strategic infrastructure significantly reduces travel time from five hours to approximately two and a half hours, thus facilitating access to basic social services and public infrastructure.
Through this initiative, the Solidarity Caravan reaffirms the State’s constant commitment to bringing social services closer to citizens, strengthening territorial equity and promoting inclusive development, particularly in the interior regions.
