Solidarity Week 2014 Wahle-Daba surged forward

As part of the National Solidarity Week , President Ismail Omar Guelleh inaugurated last Thursday Wahle – Daba , a suburb Balbala a series of basic social amenities . In addition to members of the government and the National Assembly , the ceremony was attended by representatives of international organizations and the diplomatic corps accredited to Djibouti , as well as many civilian and military figures and officials from floor horizons diverse.

A community health center called ” As Mahammad ” in tribute to a neighborhood leader who died recently , a police station , streets paved , etc. . Wahle Daba no longer has nothing to envy to other parts of the town Balbala .

Last Thursday, the local population rose as one man to express his joy to the President. The opening of these new social structures timely because just seal the solidarity movement initiated in the framework of the week dedicated to national solidarity and dedicated government strategy to curb insecurity and combat exclusion.

Last Thursday, Wahle – Daba has experienced tremendous excitement when the head of state arrived there early in the morning.

Before taking up the new Community Centre development of this neighborhood was organized the ceremony, the President, who was accompanied by the Secretary of State for Solidarity, Zahra Youssouf Kayad and the Mayor of Djibouti as well as many officials, including the members of the government , did not fail to visit the new basic social amenities including a community health center and a police station and an asphalt road that opens up this popular area of ​​Balbala .

At the end of his tour, the Head of State took place in the official gallery. This is the mayor of the capital , which in a brief speech on the occasion, welcomed the Head of State.

The aedile of the capital and the various stakeholders who have succeeded at the podium did not fail to highlight the importance of the policy of solidarity initiated by the government. Zahra Youssouf Kayad , Secretary of State for National Solidarity echoed this view .

” It financed by the French Development Agency project aims to improve the living conditions of the populations of districts 12, 14 and 15 of the Common Balbala for ” said Ms. Zahra Youssouf who added that these facilities ‘ ‘ illustrate what a development project of the “integrated” in all its dimensions ” space.

In a speech delivered on this occasion, the President also reiterated the government’s firm commitment to spare no effort to reduce the burden on the most vulnerable .

He said in the wake of the health center which has just been inaugurated , which will soon add a dispensary and hospital construction, brings the number of facilities available to the outskirts of Balbala twelve .

” That is , he has said, the result of the action of the government intends to meet the expectations of the population so best by continually improving access to health services including basic and Education ” .

To this is added , according to the President , ” the need to ensure the safety of our citizens throughout the national territory , including the most remote areas of the country .”

” The police station inaugurated today Wahledaba is part of this objective which is of particular importance , continued President Ismail Omar Guelleh, who also recalled that the youth has a place in the government’s strategy to lay the foundations for sustainable development ” .

The Head of State , in this sense, focused on the willingness and availability of the Djibouti authorities to work permanently in order to protect our forces and provide the means necessary for their development .

“Since our country has wealth that men and women who inhabit , we particularly rely on our youth,” he said in substance , adding that “we are constantly mobilized to meet their expectations and to make every effort to help them as much as possible. ” .

After the ceremony, the President of the Republic visited the new Community Development Centre before playing a game of ping -pong .
