Week of national solidarity in Obock: The “Light mothers” who force esteem

The week of national solidarity began Thursday 8 January at the capital of the region of Obock. The Secretary of State for National Solidarity Zahra Youssouf Kayad, it sponsored the ceremony gifts and certificates to the beneficiaries of social mothers net project, the validation sessions for 13 community projects, the official start of the work shopping complex, paving a path and a website for the region of Obock.
The old town of Hayu northwest on Thursday became the epicenter of the celebration activities for the week of national solidarity.
The Secretary of State for National Solidarity Zahra Youssouf Kayad, went there at the head of a large delegation of executives of his cabinet and leaders of the Djibouti Social Development Agency (ADDS) including the Director General Mahdi Mohamed Djama.
The visitors did not hide their pleasure there to shake the hands of the Prefect of Obock, Dabaleh Hassan Ahmed, President of the Regional Council, Hassan Ali Houmed, the Hasna Houmed Bilil MP, simple and anonymous obockois.
Their reunion occurred twelve months after the nets of the program’s early capital security in the region of Obock. The one and the other took the opportunity to promote the virtues of national solidarity.
They wanted through this give more visibility to the actions of the ministry of national solidarity, public awareness on issues of social assistance and attracting the adherence of all the forces of Obock and the rest of country in the presidential project a more dynamic, equitable and inclusive.
So many good intentions gave meaning to community-based nutrition interventions that have been conducted on the side of Hayu and surrounding communities throughout the year.
With ownership as a paradigm of an innovative approach that has proved conducive to change behavior in the nutrition and health of pregnant or nursing mothers and young children.
That is why the Secretary of State for National Solidarity sponsored the ceremony handed gifts to obockoises mothers, project beneficiaries of social safety nets.
“Mothers light” that force esteem Zahra Youssouf Kayad, the member Hasna Houmed Bilil, the prefect and the president of the Regional Council of Obock, and managers of ADDS.
Because they were the kingpins of unprecedented nutritional evolution the stakes in the fight against malnutrition as emergency response and also as a development strategy at local level.
Also, the Secretary of State for National Solidarity has officially launched the shopping complex, paving a path validation sessions for 13 community projects and a website for the region of Obock .
Which has the passage of a community development fund ” FDC ‘to finance micro projects proposed by local associations in the context of urban poverty reduction project that has the support of the African Development Bank (AfDB ). This fund is administered by a local committee chaired by the regional council.
On the validation of micro projects, priority is given to capacity building promoter associations.
And so that they can acquire the necessary know-how in the implementation of useful activities obockoises social progress of populations and development of the local economy.
In this context, the construction of the commercial complex and paving of the road are of daily job-sites and sources of income for youth and adults obockois faced the hazards of poverty.
All expect a lot of high intensity labor work that should ease the burden of poverty in the region of Obock.
