Week of the National Solidarity: Renewables Ali Addeh

The solar unanimous

Last Wednesday, the Secretary of State for National Solidarity was visiting the village of Ali Addeh in the region of Ali Sabieh. The coming of Zahra Youssouf Kayad returned as part of activities celebrating the week of national solidarity. She visited the facilities of the solar power plant was inaugurated, there 2 years. Powered by 270 solar panels, the latter a production capacity of 62 KWC. The solar power plant provides continuous electrical energy to more than 203 households in the assajog locality.
The Secretary of State for National Solidarity Zahra Youssouf Kayad, visited Wednesday 14 January in the village of Ali Addeh in the region of Ali Sabieh. She was accompanied by a large delegation of Djibouti Agency for Social Development (ADDS) during this movement as part of the week of national solidarity.
Brand Away chaired the 2nd anniversary ceremony of the inauguration of the solar plant of Ali Addeh. The event was attended by local authorities and the main beneficiaries. The one and the other addressed in chorus supported thanks to the government in general and the State Secretariat for National Solidarity in particular who are the source of the positive changes introduced by the commissioning of the solar plant there 2 years old.
Indeed, the use of solar energy has been conducive to the development of the local economy. Secretary of State for National Solidarity in was proud and happy. She had a sense of pride in the unanimous residents of Ali Addeh to sustainable maintenance of their solar plant. Which is a concrete expression of national solidarity in the field. As such, Ms. Zahra Youssouf Kayad highlighted the support of all sector ministries, development partners for their continued support and ongoing success of this project.
It should be recalled that the creation of this solar plant meets the government’s concern to promote the access of vulnerable sections of the national population to basic social services with the aim of reducing urban and rural poverty.
During his visit to the village of Ali Addeh, Secretary of State for National Solidarity visited the facilities of the solar plant, fueled by 270 solar panels. With a production capacity of 62 KWC, it provides continuous electrical energy to more than 203 households. The introduction of the solar plant of Ali Addeh was made possible through the financial support of the South Korean Cooperation Agency to the tune of one million US dollars. South Korea’s contribution has complemented the envelope 15 million CFA francs that the Djibouti government has devoted to the project.
At the end of last Wednesday morning, the Secretary of State for National Solidarity met with community leaders and chiefs of Ali Addeh. She educated them on the importance of the preservation of equipment for the solar power available to households in the assajog locality.
