The Djibouti Social Development Agency ADDS held last Monday at a High School Industrial and Commercial ceremony certificates in favor of fifty young people trained for a year in the fields of electricity and security . Funded by the French Development Agency ( AFD) , the program for the reintegration of youth in the context of integrated development project Balbala and fight against urban poverty Quartier7.
Several young Ward 7 and the periphery of Balbala received their certificates last Monday the end of training to industrial and commercial school ( LIC ), located in the municipality of Boulaos . The ceremony was attended by the president of the municipality of Balbala Nouho Yusuf Mohamed , the chief service skills training to ADDS , Ide Mohamed , the headmaster of the LIC , Hussein Ali Abdallah, and the representative of the Ministry of National Education and Vocational Training ( MENFOP ) , the president of the association » Sports for All » Bogoreh Adaweh Moussa and several business partners High School who hosted the students during their practical training in their companies.
For 9 months , 29 of them have received safety training modules compote several fitness and self-defense , first aid , but also courses in English and Arabic. In close collaboration with the institution of Republican Guards that these young people have been trained by the association » Sports for All » .
Indeed, the job of a security guard is very popular in our country, mainly because of the multiplication of different hotels and private villas. Therefore ADDS chose to train these young Ward 7 in this area for out of poverty . For other recipients , they were trained in automotive electrical, refrigeration and air conditioning .
After classroom training, young learners have benefited from a two-month internship in large companies instead. Which eventually recruit more of them .
After the ceremony , the principal industrial and commercial school thanked the young students for their attendance . He urged the main concerned to continue their efforts to help their families .
For his part, the head of service of the qualifying training Djibouti Social Development Agency , Mohamed Ide said that the objective of the training was to improve the employability of young people and provide them with the necessary knowledge for their allow to enter the world of work.
